Horseshoe Bend - Landscape Photography

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of paul reiffer - photographer for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Horseshoe Bend is the name for a horseshoe shaped meander of the Colorado River that is a favorite destination for photographers and tourists.

One of the most photographed natural river canyons in the world, the Horseshoe Bend is situated only 80 miles upstream of the Grand Canyon, often overlooked. Many photographers head to Page, Arizona to shoot Antelope Canyon and miss the fact they're on the doorstep of Horseshoe Bend.

So what is with that shape? I guess from reading so many articles regarding it, it is not really the shape that fascinates photographers but its location and the wondrous colorful effect it can project based on the time of day.

The Horseshoe Bend - by Paul Reiffer, Landscape Photographer portal has some great tips with regards to getting great quality shots on this small section of Colorado.

Some of his photos have won numerous awards. The featured shot is in his portal is one of the winners of the UK Great Outdoors photographic competition. It has been published in The Times, The Guardian, The Metro and The Daily Mail which are all mainstream newspapers in the UK as well as featured in several magazines. It is even used by Intercontinenal Hotels Group (IHG) for marketing material.

Hey, even using an iPhone can produce some good looking shots on this. If you just know where the best to take it.

If you may not be contented when you take shots of Horseshoe Bend, you can buy Paul's photo of it because the image is also for sale. Check out this link for more details:
