May Is National Mobility Awareness Month

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of NMEDA for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Not many people know it but I believe May is one of the most important months of the year. May is when the National Mobility Awareness Month is celebrated where you can hear and learn a ton of stories, testimonials and life's experiences of people with disabilities overcoming odds to live an active, mobile lifestyle.

If you know someone with a disability, I recommend you let them know about it. This coming event will feature contests, giveaways, testimonials, sessions and many more catered to people with disabilities to encourage them to live life to the fullest.

I know that some people with disabilities feel like it is the end of the world. Little do they know they can be capable of so much more. But the overall goal of the National Mobility Awareness Month is to educate the public on certain facts regarding people with mobility issues and show the world that people with disabilities can live a healthy and active lifestyle.

Plus, they are running a contest where the best stories and life's experiences can get a chance to win one of the custom WHeelchair Accessible Vehicles if people will vote for their story. These WAVs will be given to the winners courtesy of NMEDA.

May is just around the corner. Spread the news, let people know about the upcoming National Mobility Awareness Month. Click the link for more details.
