The Blue Bunny Ice Cream

When I first went to S&R, there was one item that caught my attention right away: Blue Bunny ice cream. It has a 1.5 gallon bucket worth around 600 bucks. Worth it if you ask me. The Blue Bunny label carries a variety of products in the frozen dairy line, including ice cream, frozen yogurt, sherbet and novelties.

Blue Bunny boasts real ice cream products. And by real, these are the criteria that the Food & Drug Administration takes into account:
Ice cream must contain:

• A minimum of 10% Dairy Fat
• 20% Milk Solids (Fat and Non-Fat)
• 4.5 lbs/gallon or 106% Overrun
• Use only allowable dairy ingredients
• allowable Whey usage (25% of Non-Fat Dairy Solids)

The flavor that we bought was fudge and it really tastes good. Not "very" sweet like Philippine ice creams, just enough. Buying the small containers may not be such a good idea since the price is expensive. I would recommend you buy their 1.5 gallon instead.

The price is more than worth the amount of ice cream in that bucket.
