Father In Law's Birthday At Chika-an

So many food right? Sad to say, I had forgotten that I threw the receipt when we dined at Chika-an during my father in law's birthday so there won't be any price information in this article. For now, savor the food that we just ordered during his birthday.

Chika-an is a native restaurant in Cebu, Philippines that, I believe rivals that of another native restaurant called Cowrie Grill. They transferred to the Lahug area, fully renovated and the place and parking areas are huge. You can either dine inside or sit outside with dirt and smoke from cars passing by sticking to your food. No thanks. We went inside ;).

The price for each of the food that we ordered is alright. Worth it actually. From the picture above, take note of the names of the food: plain rice, garlic rice, fish, soup with shrimp, beef, bicol express (yummy!), calamari, spicy eggplant and Crispy Pata.

The soup with shrimp was a bit sticky though, too much paste I guess but other than that, we all were stuffed after eating. Great food. Good place. Chika-an!
