Thailand International Airport Controversy

While this may not be related to my real life travel experiences, I thought it would be nice to post this one here so people planning to go to Thailand would be aware about the controversy that presently happens on tourists in their international airport. Typically, a lot of tourists fall victim to the zig zag scam wherein travelers are being detained in the duty free area on suspicion of shoplifting, and then held by the police until they pay large sums of money to buy their freedom.

I believe this is true. In case you plan to go there, steer clear away from the duty free shop. You can read more about the news [HERE].
