Aquaria is a world-class aquarium that features animals and various types of marine life from around the world. It is located in KLCC (Kuala Lumpur Convention Center), Malaysia and it is adjacent to the Petronas Twin Towers. So, if you are around Suria Mall in KLCC, you can just walk to Aquaria. It is pretty near. Just ask concierge of directions where to go. The aquarium occupies 60,000 square feet in the Concourse level of the KLCC.

Get to touch starfish, stringrays and others while you gaze in awe at its vast display of marine life. The area is bigger than the marine exhibit in Singapore's Sentosa Island. You can also watch divers feeding fish live. Check the schedule to know when to watch it. You can also take pictures of yourself with the diver behind you. Sad to say, flash photography is not allowed in Aquaria (though there were lots hard headed people there haha) so better bring a high powered lens with a big aperture capability to get some good shots.

I did see quite a few animals that I never saw before like the hawksbill turtle among others. They also have a walkalator there where you can pass through marine animals underneath the aquarium. I always am fascinated with animals and I enjoy watching them. This is a good place to visit when you are in Malaysia. If you bring your kids with you, better be prepared once you get out of Aquaria. Toys and memorablia will greet you once you are out of the premise.

I took some photos inside Aquaria. You can view them here.
