Japan Pavilion At Epcot

The Japan Pavilion is one of the few country pavilions located within Disney's Epcot theme park in Orlando, Florida. Walk through a stunning Japanese gate and enter a serene world of rock gardens, koi ponds and streams. Bamboo, Japanese maples, evergreen and monkey puzzle trees complete the landscape while drummer performers provide an exciting atmosphere to dine and shop.

Within the pavilion area, you can find Japanese restaurants to quench your Japanese appetite. Within its shopping area, you can find an assortment of Japanese clothings like the national dress Kimono, a heap of anime toys and apparels. You can also buy fresh pearl. These are just a few of them. And the anime figurines that I saw there were pretty unique. I never saw those kind of toys being sold anywhere in the Philippines. The prices were quite expensive though, which was a good thing that I did not get tempted to buy even one anime figurine.

Outside, you can find a lady named Miyuki who creates sculptures on a stick from soft rice dough, making animals at the request of guests. She starts with a white base and adds color as needed. Guests are presented with the candy sculpture as an edible souvenir.
