American Adventure Pavilion At Epcot

A huge portion of Disney Epcot theme park in Orlando, Florida houses a variety of country pavilions with lots of exhibits, entertainment and fun stuffs that relate to each country's history, culture and tradition. One of these pavilions, and not surprising, is the American Adventure Pavilion (Disney is in America after all, so ... you get the idea why it is there). America in its past, you can see Colonial style structures like the Independence Hall, Boston's Old State House, Monticello and Colonial Williamsburg. Inside the rotunda, various paintings and quotations from famous American people like Walt Disney himself can be found here.

Enjoy live musical performances, theatrical shows and taste American food and beverages in their restaurants. The performers (got this from the Disney site as I do not know how well to describe it), like Voices of Liberty, is a group of 8 singers dressed in colonial costumes that sing patriotic and folk songs in harmonized a capella. The Spirit of America Fife and Drum Corps is a group of drummers and fife players that perform rousing patriotic songs outdoors in front of the pavilion.

As with other pavilions, you can shop for gifts and goods that are Americana related like replicas of historical documents, handcrafts, and lots of others. The shows are not non-stop so check back the pavilion from time to time to see who is performing what in the America Adventure Pavilion.
