National Air & Space Museum @ Washington, USA Nov 5, 2007

During one of our 3 day trip across the various states in the U.S., we stopped by at the Air & Space Museum in Washington. Located on the National Mall, it houses lots of historic artifacts including the Wright 1903 Flyer, the Spirit of St. Louis, the Apollo 11 command module Columbia, and a Lunar rock which you can touch.

Do not worry, there are no space germs here and nothing will happen to you. The various displays range from the old aerial structures to the most latest ones, those that are space related. They also have an IMAX theater though we did not watch any. Our tour guide just let us do our stuffs around the museum taking photos and all while she waited outside.

You can have your lunch here too as they have a food court style area where you can eat. The place is awfully big and there are lots of artifacts, structures, ships, jets and others that you better make sure you bring a camera with you or else it would all just be a waste with no evidence whatsoever that you were actually there with the displays behind you.
